Import of Parts and Necessary Accessories for Assembly Lines Allowed
Nourlaw-21 January 2019- Tehran– In support of industrial production in Iran, the Council of Ministers, upon the proposal of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, in their session dated 19.10.1397 (09 January 2019) and in accordance with Principle 138 of the Iranian Constitution Law issued the following decree:
“The order registration and import of raw materials, parts and necessary accessories for assembly lines is allowed up to the amount of 300m USD, sourced from the foreign currency of the importer, for facilitation of domestic production processes till the end of year 1398 (March 2019), provided that the approval of Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade is obtained and the declaration of the origin of the foreign currency to the Central Bank of Iran is also needed for the clearance of imported goods”.
